ReplyDeleteThanks. I needed to know the difference.
ReplyDeletethank you, very useful
ReplyDeleteNow that was helpful, thanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteI read about a hop being an action where only one foot is used. In contradiction a jump being a hop with the usage of two feet. What do you think about that?
Hop (VERB) Ref: Dictionary.com
ReplyDelete1. to make a short, bouncing leap; move by leaping with all feet off the ground.
2. to spring or leap on one foot.
Based off these definitions I'd consider a hop as jump with some horizontal movement thrown in. If you are hopping but not moving I'd qualify it as "Hopping in place"
Thank you, very helpful
