- You should have been more understanding towards Mary.
In Conditional Sentences:
- "If clause": to express possibilities and suppositions.
- If she should phone, tell her I'm out.
- Should it rain, we will not go out.
- "Main clause": to express an unreal situation.
- If I were you, I should accept this offer. (Unreal because I am not you.)
